Article 6

The goals of the association are:

• Realization and promotion of research in the field of cyber security and technical protection of information systems through cooperation with national and international research centers / organizations

• Raising awareness and education of citizens of Montenegro on cyber security and protection of data privacy

• Facilitating the exchange of information between the private and public sectors on cyber threats in Montenegro

• Cooperation in terms of providing support to the Government of Montenegro in defining and implementing the Strategy of cyber security and and other documents of strategic and implementational significance in this area

• Cooperation in terms of providing support to the Government of Montenegro regarding the harmonization of local regulations with the regulations and standards of the European Union in the areas of cyber security, information security, protection of data privacy and related areas

• Cooperation of members of the Association with Montenegrin and global experts, researchers, research institutions and organizations of similar interest, educational institutions, students on projects in the domain of data privacy protection, information security and related areas

• Cooperation of Association members regarding the exchange and definition of best practices in the field of cyber security and data privacy protection

 

 

Article 7

The activities of the association are:

• Promotion of importance and pointing to the modern approach to processing sensitive data, implementation of information systems from the aspect of data security, assessment of information risks and research of new vulnerabilities

• Promoting importance and pointing to the safe use of Internet in households and through personal devices with internet access (smartphones, tablets, smartphones)

• Demonstration and promotion of the importance of vulnerability of Montenegrin Internet services, products and portals as well as cooperation in terms of providing support for the elimination of vulnerabilities

• Cooperation with state bodies in the form of providing support in harmonizing local legislation with the standards and regulations of the European Union in the field of cyber security, data privacy and related areas, as well as with support, preparation and realization of cyber / information security projects and protection of privacy of data and related areas

• Organizing seminars, conferences, forums and other meetings in order to raise awareness about information security and exchange of best and contemporary practices in the domain of information / cyber security, data privacy and related areas
